Hello! I am a current Ph.D. candidate at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where I am a teaching assistant for an undergraduate statistics course. I received my BS from Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia, PA, where I double majored in Psychology and Philosophy. I have been doing research in experimental psychology for over 4 years, and am in the process of publishing research in a few APA journals.
My experience tutoring has been at the undergraduate level for a few years now, and across a few different subjects: Philosophy, Psychology, and Statistics / Data analysis. My approach is simple and effective: Meet the student where they are. Students come from all manner of background and contexts, and therefore have different starting points. Thus, my philosophy has always been that it does not matter where we start –– I will get you where you need to go.
In addition to my expertise in all of the above subjects, I also bring an expertise in behavior. Part of "meeting students where they are" is being able to understand where they come from. If you are looking for someone who will give you a personal tutoring experience that is tailored to your specific needs, then you have come to the right person!
