Hello, I'm Isaac Nobles, a high school senior. I'm passionate about math and have taken a variety of high-level courses across many different disciplines. I've tutored many of my friends and acquaintances in subjects such as algebra 1 and 2, precalculus, calculus, and SAT/ACT math. I am extremely familiar with this material, getting an 800 on the SAT math section (1580 total), a 35 on the ACT math section (35 overall), and a 5 on the AP Calculus BC Exam. I also have experience in alternative math disciplines, receiving an A in college-level Linear Algebra at an accredited 4-year university. In addition, I have almost a decade of experience in competition math, including disciplines such as Number Theory, Counting and Probability, and Geometry. I have qualified for the American Invitational Math Exam (AIME) three times and received a score of 7. I have also earned a Certificate of Distinction for the American Math Competition (AMC) 12 with a score of 118.5.
My tutoring philosophy is simple: my students learn how to think in order to solve math problems, rather than simply memorizing formulas. It's important to me that my students learn how to tackle any type of problem which might come their way on the next big test, the SAT or ACT, or a math competition.
