Hello, I'm Isaac Nobles, a high school senior. I'm passionate about math and have taken a variety of high-level courses across many different disciplines. Hello, I'm Isaac Nobles, a high school senior. I'm passionate about math and have taken a variety of high-level courses across many different disciplines. I've tutored many of my friends and acquaintances in subjects such as algebra 1 and 2, precalculus, calculus, and SAT/ACT math. I am extremely familiar with this material, getting an 800 on the SAT math section (1580 total), a 35 on the ACT math section (35 overall), and a 5 on the AP Calculus BC Exam. I also have experience in alternative math disciplines, receiving an A in college-level Linear Algebra at an accredited 4-year university. In addition, I have almost a decade of experience in competition math, including disciplines such as Number Theory, Counting and Probability, and Geometry. I have qualified for the American Invitational Math Exam (AIME) three times and received a score of 7. I have also earned a Certificate of Distinction for the American Math Competition (AMC) 12 with a score of 118.5.

My tutoring philosophy is simple: my students learn how to think in order to solve math problems, rather than simply memorizing formulas. It's important to me that my students learn how to tackle any type of problem which might come their way on the next big test, the SAT or ACT, or a math competition. If you have any additional questions about my qualifications, feel free to reach out!

ACT Math

ACT Math

I have extensive experience with the topics which appear on the ACT Math section, receiving a 35 on this section on my first testing attempt. My philosophy is that practice under ACT testing conditions is the best way for students to prepare when paired with proper review techniques. My students will learn the skills and preparation strategies they need to succeed in ACT Math.
Chess

Chess

I am a high school student who has been playing chess for 10 years. I have a rating of 1400+ on Chess.com Rapid and have competed in several tournaments. I would be happy to tutor you in chess rules, tactics, openings, and endgames.
Soccer

Soccer

I have played soccer since the age of six for the club North Carolina Fusion and have reached the Premier level, the highest in the NC Youth Soccer Association system. I have also played for the Forsyth Home Educators Boys Varsity Soccer team since 2020, where I was named to the all conference team three times and West Conference MVP once. I am a two-time homeschool state champion and have won the homeschool national championship in Chatanooga, TN once. In addition to that, I have coached soccer at the Greensboro Soccer Nights camp in the last four summers and work part time as a soccer referee.
