I am currently pursuing a master’s degree in Data Science and Engineering at North Carolina A&T. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Economics. My academic background includes extensive coursework in quantitative subjects such as Calculus I/II, Quantitative Analysis, Econometrics, Computational Biology, and Applied Probability and Statistics. Currently, I am writing my thesis in advanced machine learning and have conducted award-winning research in healthcare using machine learning techniques.

Currently, I am writing my thesis in advanced machine learning and have conducted award-winning research in healthcare using machine learning techniques.

I have a diverse tutoring background, having worked with a wide range of students. I have tutored elementary students in person in mathematics and high school students in Spanish. During my senior year of college, I also tutored elementary students virtually in math on a volunteer basis. Now, I specialize in tutoring math, statistics, and coding for all ages, including college-aged and adult students.

At the heart of my teaching philosophy is the belief that education should be engaging, interactive, and practical. I aim to create a supportive learning environment where students can relate to and understand complex concepts. I emphasize the importance of providing clear examples, plenty of practice, and interactive lessons. By integrating real-world scenarios and projects, I make abstract concepts tangible and relevant, helping students not only learn but also appreciate the subjects they study.

My goal is to inspire a love for learning through a hands-on approach, ensuring that each student gains confidence and proficiency in math, statistics, and coding.
