I have 35+ peer-reviewed publications, including 10 first-author papers, completed during medical school alongside elite board scores. I am a first-generation college graduate who has spent years mentoring students through every stage of the medical training pipeline.
For Step 2 CK and shelf exam prep, I specialize in study plan analysis and ensuring students are maximizing their score with the time they have remaining. I help students distinguish knowledge gaps from clinical reasoning flaws — two problems that require completely different solutions. We analyze your UWorld performance and NBME data together to build a targeted plan, then apply proven frameworks for Internal Medicine, Surgery, and OBGYN so you stop second-guessing and start executing on test day.
For premed and medical school advising, I work with students on personal statements, activity descriptions, secondary essays, and interview preparation. Having navigated this process myself as a first-generation student with no roadmap, I understand the hidden curriculum and the specific obstacles non-traditional applicants face at every step.
For research mentorship and academic writing, my background is uncommon for any tutor at any level. I published 35+ peer-reviewed manuscripts and 10 first-author papers during medical school. I help students identify opportunities, approach faculty mentors, contribute meaningfully to ongoing projects, and navigate the full publication process from submission through revision. I also provide editing support for manuscripts, abstracts, and poster presentations.

Approved Subjects

ACT Science

ACT Science

I scored a 36 on the ACT Science section, a perfect score, backed by a bachelor's degree in Exercise and Sport Science with undergraduate coursework in biology, chemistry, anatomy, and physiology, and four years of medical school covering the full breadth of scientific disciplines tested on the ACT. The ACT Science section is fundamentally a data interpretation and reasoning test rather than a pure knowledge exam, and my approach focuses on teaching students exactly how to read graphs, analyze experiments, and work through conflicting viewpoints passages quickly and accurately. I have spent years mentoring and tutoring students in science and test preparation, helping them build both the content foundation and the strategic approach needed to maximize their score on test day. Whether you are aiming for a competitive score for college admissions or pushing for a perfect 36, I will help you identify your specific weaknesses and build a targeted plan to get there.
Anatomy

Anatomy

I am a 4th year medical student with extensive anatomy experience through my preclinical coursework, cadaver lab, and clinical rotations. I have applied anatomy directly in the operating room and hospital setting, which helps me teach concepts in a practical and memorable way. I enjoy helping students move beyond memorization by connecting structures, spatial relationships, and clinical relevance. Whether you are preparing for a class exam, lab practical, or professional school exam, I can help you build a clear study plan and strengthen weak areas.
ASVAB

ASVAB

I am a commissioned Army National Guard Medical Officer and 4th-year medical student who scored in the 99th percentile on the ASVAB, giving me firsthand knowledge of the exam format, scoring structure, and the specific science, math, and reasoning sections that determine military occupational specialty eligibility. My background in exercise science, combined with four years of medical school covering anatomy, physiology, biology, chemistry, and mathematics, gives me the depth of knowledge to teach every ASVAB subtest with genuine expertise. I have spent years mentoring and tutoring students in academic and high-pressure testing environments, and I understand how to build confidence and test-taking strategy alongside content mastery. Whether you are enlisting for the first time, retaking to qualify for a specific MOS, or aiming for officer candidacy, I can help you build a targeted plan to hit your goal score.
Biology

Biology

I hold a bachelor's degree in Exercise and Sport Science and am a 4th-year medical student with top percentile scores across all NBME shelf exams, giving me a deep and continuously applied foundation in biology spanning cell biology, genetics, microbiology, physiology, and anatomy. I have spent years tutoring and mentoring students at multiple levels, breaking complex biological concepts down into clear, logical frameworks that build real understanding rather than rote memorization. My medical training allows me to connect foundational biology directly to real-world applications, making the material more intuitive and engaging for students whether they are preparing for a high school exam, AP Biology, or an undergraduate course. I tailor every session to the student's specific curriculum and goals to ensure we are maximizing their progress with the time available.
College Counseling

College Counseling

I am a first-generation college student and military officer currently attending the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. Having been the first in my family to graduate high school, I specialize in helping students from non-traditional backgrounds navigate the complexities of top-tier college admissions. I have mentored numerous applicants by focusing on building a cohesive personal narrative and developing the leadership skills necessary to stand out to admissions committees. My objective is to provide the tactical strategy and organizational habits needed to secure admission into competitive universities and specialized programs.
Elementary Science

Elementary Science

As a 4th-year medical student with top percentile board scores, I have a deep foundational knowledge of biology, chemistry, physics, and earth science that spans every topic covered in elementary science curricula. I have spent years mentoring and tutoring students at various levels, breaking down complex scientific concepts into simple, engaging, and age-appropriate explanations. My approach focuses on building genuine curiosity and conceptual understanding rather than rote memorization, giving young students the foundation they need to excel in science long-term. I tailor every session to the individual student's learning style and current curriculum to ensure they feel confident and excited about science.
EMT/ NREMT

EMT/ NREMT

I am a certified EMT who passed the NREMT exam and practiced in the prehospital setting prior to medical school. I have firsthand knowledge of the exam format, question style, and the clinical reasoning required to pass on the first attempt. As a 4th-year medical student with top percentile board scores, I bring a depth of medical knowledge that extends well beyond the EMT scope of practice. This allows me to teach EMT content with a level of clinical context and explanation that most tutors cannot offer. I have extensive working knowledge of BLS and ACLS algorithms, pharmacology, airway management, trauma assessment, and emergency medical decision-making, all of which directly support EMT exam preparation. My tutoring approach focuses on helping students understand the clinical reasoning behind correct answers rather than memorizing facts in isolation. For the NREMT specifically, this means working through the adaptive testing format, building pattern recognition for high-yield scenarios, and ensuring students can apply protocols correctly under pressure. I have supported students across multiple levels of medical training and understand how to meet learners where they are, whether they are brand new to emergency medicine or retaking the exam after a previous attempt.
NCLEX

NCLEX

As a 4th-year medical student with top percentile USMLE board scores and four years of clinical training across internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics, psychiatry, and emergency medicine, I have mastered the exact medical knowledge base and clinical reasoning framework that the NCLEX tests. The NCLEX is fundamentally a clinical decision-making exam, and my approach mirrors how I was trained to think through patient care: identifying the priority problem, selecting the next best intervention, and applying safe practice principles under pressure — the same logic the NCLEX rewards. I have tutored and mentored numerous students through high-stakes medical exams and understand how to translate complex clinical concepts into clear, actionable frameworks that build both confidence and accuracy. Whether you are a nursing student taking the NCLEX for the first time or retaking after a previous attempt, I will help you analyze your weak areas, build a targeted study plan, and develop the clinical reasoning skills needed to pass.
Nursing

Nursing

As a 4th-year medical student with top percentile USMLE board scores and four years of hands-on clinical rotations alongside nursing staff in internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics, psychiatry, and emergency medicine, I have a deep understanding of both the medical knowledge and the clinical workflows that nursing students are trained to master. I specialize in helping nursing students build the clinical reasoning skills that bridge the gap between classroom content and real patient care decisions, which is the exact skill set tested on coursework, clinical exams, and the NCLEX. I have tutored and mentored numerous students through high-stakes medical and science exams and understand how to break down complex pathophysiology, pharmacology, and patient management concepts into clear frameworks that stick. Whether you are struggling with a specific course, preparing for a major exam, or working to strengthen your overall clinical reasoning, I will help you build a targeted plan and the confidence to execute it.
Personal Statements

Personal Statements

Over the past 4 years I have advised and mentored numerous premeds and college applicants through the personal statement and application process, with students earning acceptance to medical schools and undergraduate programs across the country. I have worked one-on-one with applicants at every stage of the writing process, from initial brainstorming and narrative development through final line-level editing and submission. My approach centers on helping applicants identify and articulate their most compelling story. Many strong candidates struggle to translate their experiences into writing that feels authentic and stands out to admissions committees. I specialize in closing that gap, working through multiple drafts to sharpen clarity, voice, and impact. My own background informs this work directly. I secured multiple full-ride scholarships for undergraduate study and a competitive full-tuition scholarship for medical school, giving me firsthand insight into what selective admissions committees respond to at the highest levels. As a fourth-year medical student with 35+ peer-reviewed publications, I also bring a strong academic writing background that translates directly into polished, high-quality essay editing. I have supported students applying to undergraduate honors programs, MD and DO medical schools, and competitive scholarship competitions, helping them build applications that reflect both their achievements and their individual voice.
Physiology

Physiology

I am a 4th year medical student with strong experience in physiology through medical school coursework, board-style exam preparation, and clinical rotations. I help students understand how organ systems work together rather than simply memorizing isolated facts. My tutoring style focuses on breaking down difficult concepts into clear, testable frameworks and applying them to real clinical examples. I can help with class exams, MCAT-style preparation, nursing or PA coursework, and medical-level physiology review.
USMLE

USMLE

I'm a 4th-year MD student at UNC School of Medicine applying into Orthopedic Surgery. I scored 270+ on USMLE Step 2 CK (99th percentile) and placed in the 90th percentile or above on every NBME clinical shelf exam. I have over 35 peer-reviewed publications, including 10 first-author papers, completed during medical school while maintaining elite board scores. At the start of our work together, I create a personalized Google Drive folder for you with study resources and a customized study plan spreadsheet we build together. My focus is on efficiency: separating knowledge gaps from clinical reasoning flaws so you stop losing points to the same patterns and start hitting your target score.

Beyond what i expected!

I am preparing for USMLE step 2 and have 2 weeks before my exam. My score had plateaued in the mid 230's range for a couple of weeks and i was scrambling to figure out what i can change. I wasn't sure if reaching out to a tutor was going to make a difference but i am so glad i did. From the very start Bradley had a system he worked through to figure out what i can improve on, asked detailed questions about what i've done so far to identify my weaknesses and came up with the bases of a schedule before our first meeting and we built on that together based on what my capabilities were and answered every nuanced question i had with extremely useful advice. He also offered his availability so that if i feel like there are areas i feel weak on we can schedule tutoring sessions to go over the topics and practice identifying them in a question format. He also offered all of his resources and HY notes he has taken through out his own prep that is so well organized that i can review the topics i feel weak on by my self as well. Having such a tailored framework takes so much of the anxiety off so i can focus on whats important. He has gone above and beyond of what i expected and i am truly grateful. Thank you Bradley!

10/10 tutor!

Bradley is a great tutor. He is very kind and patient. And more importantly in my opinion, he is available and present. In moments where you need quick answers and someone that is available to you and your problems, having a tutor that cares is very important, and I felt that Bradley really cares. Definitely recommend!
