I am extremely passionate about the French language and the history of France. I am especially interested in linguistic history, which is how language has changed over time. I fell in love with French the way every other teacher falls in love with their content - through an amazing teacher! I started taking French classes in high school and quickly realized that I wanted to shape my life around the language. I went to East Carolina University in NC and graduated (magna cum laude) in 2014 with a degree in French Education and an NC teaching license. I have spent the past year teaching at a middle school and will continue to to do so this year.
