I'm a recent BSN graduate and newly licensed RN, currently working on an intermediate care floor. I graduated Summa Cum Laude in July and was honored as BSN Student of the Year at my nursing school. I'm also a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society, which reflects my dedication to academic excellence and leadership in the field of nursing.
I passed the NCLEX in August 2025 and deeply understand the stress and pressure that comes with preparing for it, because I was just there. What helped me succeed, and what I now bring to my tutoring, is a focus on true understanding over memorization. I love breaking down complex concepts into simpler, manageable pieces and connecting them to real-world nursing practice. I use a variety of outside resources to reinforce difficult material and am always open to asking questions and exploring different ways of thinking. My philosophy is: if something doesn't make sense yet, we just haven't looked at it the right way.
While I didn't formally tutor in school, I was the go-to person for my classmates whenever they needed help. I regularly shared in-depth notes, reviewed tough topics with peers, and explained concepts in ways that made sense to different learning styles. I've often been told that I should "sell my notes" because they were so detailed and helpful, which speaks to how deeply I engage with the material and how much I enjoy helping others succeed.
