Hi, I'm Amanda! I am an English Education student at North Carolina State University. I am studying to become a high school English teacher. I have always loved school and the art of learning. In high school, my class sizes were very small; I know the difference this can make in success and learning for student. I want to provide that personal, one-on-one help for students. When tutoring, I try to make the content engaging and digestible for my students.
I have experience working one on one with students as well as in small groups. For about three years, I tutored a second grade student. I also student taught at a local school in fall of 2025. I worked with 11th grade English students there and we focused on rhetoric.
