I have a Master's degree in Adolescent Education Grades 7-12 with concentration in English. I also have Bachelor's degree in English and both degrees are from SUNY Plattsburgh. My GPA was a 3.8 and I graduated with my master's in education in 2013.

I want to be a tutor because I want to be able to help individuals achieve their goals. Many students either struggle or just want that extra focus to be able to improve their scores and that's what I want to help with. I have worked with high school students of every age and ability, so I know how to connect to each student at the level they're at and work to get them to where they want to go.

Being a high school English teacher I am qualified to tutor in any area of English including reading, writing, grammar, SAT prep, ACT prep, etc. I would be happy to help any student who needs extra attention in those areas.

I not only teach, but I also coach. I coach soccer but have also coached basketball and tennis. I love the outdoors and doing things like hiking, kayaking, and camping.

I'm a great tutor because, as an English teacher, I have worked with a variety of different students with varied skills, abilities, knowledge, etc. I am patient, kind, and encouraging to my students and am the same way with tutoring.

I would be happy to help any student who needs extra attention in any realm of English, as well as SAT or ACT preparation!

I would be happy to help tutor in regards to grammar or any English piece!

Public Speaking

As an English teacher I often incorporate public speaking into my curriculum. I feel it's extremely important to be a confident public speaker.
