I have taught Algebra I for the past 8 years for the North Carolina school system. My degree is in applied mathematics, which means that I have more understanding of the subject than a general education major. While many teachers have to take the Praxis test on math content an average of three times, I completed it on the first try with flying colors. I have a high success rate at understanding what students need to complete on standardized tests in math EOG's and Algebra 1 EOC.
