Hello! I am an instructor with experience teaching adults and K-12 learners. I have taught English as a Second Language at a community college and have experience teaching English to elementary school students abroad. I have worked as a writing teaching assistant, tutoring Master's and Doctoral students on writing structure and processes. I also have more than four years of professional journalism experience bolstering my analytical eye for writing and my ability to achieve clear and concise prose. Educationally, my background is in English Literature (M.A. 2024) and Journalism (B.A. 2017). During both degree programs, I practiced the writing, revision, and editing process extensively.
Having worked with a variety of students, from new English learners to graduate students, I am confident in my ability to support the students I tutor with expository writing, persuasive writing, essay writing, and literary close reading, all from beginner to advanced levels.
