My name is Taren V., and I am currently an Earth/Environmental Science teacher through the SCORE program, an online program through the Wake County Public School System. I previously taught Biology (Standard and Honors) and Global Science Issues at Carver High School in Winston-Salem, North Carolina for four years. In addition to my teaching experience, I have taken various educational courses in classroom management, teaching methods and diverse learning. My background in science (biology, physical science, ecology, genetics, botany, earth science, etc.) and sports studies (sports marketing, sports management, etc.) is extensive to those students who may need help in these areas. I truly enjoy working with students and am always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that they have a true understanding of the content that we are going over. I have worked with students of all different learning levels and do not consider any student unteachable.
