Hi! I’m Raguell, a recent graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (a top 20 university), where I studied Psychology with a minor in Conflict Management through Honors Carolina. I graduated from one of the top private schools in North Carolina, where I attended from grades 1–12, which shaped my strong academic foundation and long-term approach to learning. I currently support high school students in planning their post-secondary paths and have worked one-on-one with hundreds of students on essays, applications, financial aid, and overall academic readiness.
I specialize in essay crafting and editing, ACT English and Reading prep, and literacy support across all grade levels. I earned a perfect score in ACT English and Reading, and I help students strengthen comprehension, grammar, and test-taking strategies in a way that feels clear and manageable. I am also trained as a Literacy tutor, with experience supporting elementary students in foundational reading skills such as phonics, fluency, and comprehension. For middle school students, I focus on writing development: helping them organize their ideas, strengthen their voice, and build confidence in their work.
My approach is structured but flexible, and always tailored to the student. Whether we’re revising an essay, preparing for the ACT, or building reading skills from the ground up, I break things down step-by-step and meet students where they are. I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, taking risks, and improving over time. My goal is not just to boost scores or complete assignments, but to help students become more confident, independent learners.
