Nice to meet you! My name is Cameron, and I’m a recent graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I specialize in tutoring chemistry, biology, and other sciences. I’m available for in-person tutoring sessions at local libraries, coffee shops, college campuses, or in-home throughout the Durham/Chapel Hill/Morrisville/Cary/Raleigh areas.

I graduated with highest distinction from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with majors in Chemistry and Nutrition Science and a minor in Biology. I currently work at a premier biomedical research institute and have over three years of scientific research experience. In addition to my academic background, I scored in the 99th percentile on the ACT (34), the 96th percentile on the MCAT (519), and have passed both the NREMT and North Carolina EMT certification exams.

I have experience tutoring students at the college, high school, middle school, and elementary school levels. At UNC, I served as a chemistry peer mentor/learning assistant for nearly 200 hours over three semesters, supporting both general and organic chemistry students. I answered student questions during lectures, led weekly problem-solving sessions for groups of about 30 students, and helped run large exam reviews, including a final exam review for more than 200 students. I also work part-time with a K–12 tutoring company, where I lead one-on-one and small-group sessions in chemistry, ACT/SAT test prep, and other subjects. I’m a firm believer in active learning through practice problems, so I’m always happy to help with take-home work, practice exam review, or creating extra practice problems tailored to your needs.
