Hi there, I’m John! I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Northeastern University. I’m currently in my 3rd year of medical school at Duke University School of Medicine, where I have developed a strong foundation in clinical knowledge and research.

I have over 6 years of experience tutoring and mentoring students at various stages of their academic journey, from high school students preparing for college to medical students navigating rigorous coursework and board exams. My tutoring approach is grounded in active learning techniques, tailored specifically to the individual needs of each student. I incorporate lesson plans which can introduce the topic in a fun and creative way, while being able to explicitly explain the information at hand in a digestible format. I also draw on concepts from my previous tutoring experiences to help reinforce problem-solving and analytical skills.

Throughout my tutoring career, I’ve worked in diverse settings, including one-on-one sessions with college undergrads, small group tutorials with other medical students, and volunteer programs for high school students in underserved communities.
