Incredible Tutor

Max was an incredible tutor and was instrumental in helping me improve and ultimately achieve my goal score for Step 2. I met with Max after four weeks of dedicated study, during which I had seen no improvement in my NBME scores. He was able to break down my score reports and help me develop a targeted plan with specific changes I could make to bridge the gap between where I was and where I wanted to be. Our sessions were well organized and tailored to the types of algorithms and concepts that the NBME tests. He had an excellent grasp of what was high-yield and was able to point me toward areas for review that proved to be the most worthwhile and effective use of my time. I was most grateful for his positive attitude and encouragement throughout the arduous process of preparation, as it helped me remain hopeful and see a finish line even when I struggled to see one myself. I cannot recommend Max enough for Step 2 preparation—I only wish I had found him sooner in my preparation.

Max is a great tutor. He makes use of every minute of the lesson and understands time constraints that come with residency. He is realistic and will meet you where you’re at to help you do well.
