My name is Marcella. I am a nurse educator and nurse clinician. My teaching experience in nursing started after I earned a Master of Science (MS) in nursing. The emphasis on the role of educator in my MS program has provided me with skills needed to develop and meet outcomes when teaching and tutoring. My name is Marcella. I am a nurse educator and nurse clinician. My teaching experience in nursing started after I earned a Master of Science (MS) in nursing. The emphasis on the role of educator in my MS program has provided me with skills needed to develop and meet outcomes when teaching and tutoring. When tutoring, I use a variety of teaching methodologies to motivate and engage learners.

The clinical component of the MS program afforded me the critical content needed to share with learners taking Community and Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing. My knowledge of science has helped me achieve ongoing recognition for my successes in teaching Pathophysiology. The skill to teach these courses goes beyond large groups as I have been successful in tutoring students challenged by Pathophysiology. As an educator, I stay abreast of current trends. Therefore, I participate in ongoing learning. As a clinician, I can integrate practice with theory, bringing about a sense of realness with learners.

The knowledge I acquired during my PhD program is valuable to learners seeking a tutor. My ability to identify threads in a nursing program allows me to focus on key concepts expected of learners. As a researcher, I stress the need for evidence-based knowledge and its importance when tutoring. Additionally, my PhD allows me to use theoretical approaches when assessing learning needs, planning teaching strategies and evaluating progress.

To help ensure the success of learners, I will take measures to understand their learning style. I will also assess the learner’s readiness to learn. I will also get an understanding of expected outcomes. To keep the learner engaged, I will work to make learning activities fun and useful. While I will assist learners in meeting their goals, I will stress the need for learners to be accountable and responsible. Learners will have homework assignments.

I have used this knowledge to tutor students in the past. I earned a Master of Science (MS) in Nursing.

In my Master of Science program, I learned that genetics is the study of genes, genetic variation, and inheritance. As it relates to genetic variation (GV), I learned that if there is no GV between individuals in a population the group will not evolve. More than all, I have learned that genetics determines our structures, functions, and thoughts. Genetics is an important topic for those seeking a degree in the health sciences. My knowledge of genetics and preparation as an educator provides me with the skills to teach and evaluate a learner’s progress in genetics. I came close to taking a position in 1991 as a genetic educator. I have taught the subject of genetics in my pathophysiology classes. I have also used my knowledge of genetics to tutor students seeking to learn about genetics.
HESI (Nursing exam)

Research has shown that one’s score on the exit exam, HESI, is a good predictor of how the person will do on NCLEX. As a nurse educator, I have found that graduates who did well on HESI exams were more likely to pass NCLEX. Unlike those who pass NCLEX, graduates who fail NCLEX were more likely to have had poor scores on HESI exams. Regardless of reason for failure on NCLEX, whether it be weak in content, anxiety, or poor test taking, to help to ensure success on NCLEX, one must reach for high scores on HESI exams. Success on HESI and NCLEX represents knowledge, confidence, and critical decision making. If your goal is to be successful on NCLEX by being responsible and accountable, I can help you succeed by assessing weaknesses on HESI, developing strategies to combat weaknesses, and asking in-depth questions. Moreover, my experience as a successful HESI coach makes me qualified to help you become a nurse that will benefit our global society.

My knowledge of nutrition is supported by the old saying, “Don’t Allow Poor Nutrition Ruin Your Good Health.” When I took a Nutrition course in my undergraduate program. I learned that it takes a variety of foods to ensure adequate intake of nutrients. Certain nutrients regulate chemical processes. Energy is established from other nutrients. Some nutrients are responsible for body structure. As a clinician, I have seen the value of a proper diet. I have also learned that diseases and disorders require specific foods for healing and growth. As an educator, I have planned lessons to help learners, groups and individuals manage illnesses with healthy food choices. I have also helped these learners develop strategies to prevent diseases.

To ensure student learners are safe, especially those who are responsible for administering medications, they must be proficient when it comes to drug knowledge. Prior to giving medications, the student learner must know how drugs work and how the body is likely to respond. Drug classification is also important. My experience in helping learners pinpoint the critical information needed to articulate and simulate an understanding of how to safely administer medications will be valuable to those seeking guidance and support.
