Hi! I’m Savannah, and I truly love helping students learn and grow. I have experience teaching students in grades K-5 and hold licenses in Elementary Education, Special Education: General Curriculum, and Early Childhood Birth-Kindergarten. Throughout my career, I’ve worked with a wide range of learners and have seen firsthand how much confidence can grow when students receive the right support and encouragement.
I currently teach 5th grade, and upper elementary has a special place in my heart. I love this age because students are becoming more independent, asking deeper questions, and starting to see how their learning connects to the world around them. My goal is always to create a positive, supportive environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and celebrating their progress.
Math and science are my favorite subjects to teach, and I enjoy finding ways to make challenging concepts click for students. I also have a deep love for reading, especially novel studies and helping students think about an author’s purpose, reasoning, and craft. Whether your child needs extra support, wants to build confidence, or is ready for a challenge, I look forward to helping them reach their goals and discover that learning can be enjoyable.
