Through these experiences, I discovered my passion for tutoring and helping others gain confidence in their abilities.

As a recent high school graduate who is already halfway through earning my associate’s degree, I understand firsthand the academic pressures that students face at various stages. I’ve always been the type of person who friends and classmates turn to for help—whether it’s breaking down math problems, editing essays, or preparing for tests. Through these experiences, I discovered my passion for tutoring and helping others gain confidence in their abilities.
My tutoring style is friendly, encouraging, and flexible. I’ve worked one-on-one with middle school and high school students, both informally and in volunteer settings. I focus on meeting students where they are and adjusting my approach based on how they learn best. Some students need step-by-step guidance, while others benefit more from real-world examples or quick review games. I also know how important patience and a positive attitude are, especially when students feel stuck or frustrated.
Because I’m currently in college myself, I’m very familiar with current curriculum standards and what’s expected in high school and early college classes. I believe in creating a supportive, non-judgmental environment where students can ask questions freely, make mistakes, and grow. My goal is not just to help students earn better grades, but to help them understand the “why” behind what they’re learning and develop skills that last far beyond the classroom
