I have been an Arabic teacher for more than 10 years. I currently teach the local youth Arabic at AlBayan Academy, a Sunday School. I also offer one-on-one Arabic lesson biweekly. I enjoy helping others acquire knowledge and improve their skills. To me, tutoring is about building positive relationships with my students so that I can understand them better and communicate with them effectively.
Aside from Arabic being my native language, I am also certified. I spent 5 years studying and preparing for a certification in the proper pronunciation and recitation of the Arabic scripture. After acquiring my certificate from the ministry of religious affairs in Damascus, Syria, I began teaching students of different ages and abilities the foundations of the Arabic language. I currently run a local Sunday School in Charlotte, NC, where I serve as the Arabic coordinator. I teach nearly 20 students.
I am a mother of five children, three of which are diagnosed with ADHD. My experience in raising them and helping them adjust in different environments provided me with insight on to how to approach individuals with ADHD in the best manner.
Education is a journey of a lifetime and I am willing to make it worth your while!
