Hi! I’m Pooja! I recently graduated from UNC Chapel Hill with a double major in Quantitative Biology and Statistics & Analytics, and a minor in Neuroscience. This fall, I’ll be pursuing my Master of Public Health in Biostatistics and Epidemiology at Columbia University. I’ve always loved the intersection of science, data, and healthcare, and I bring that curiosity and enthusiasm into every tutoring session. My goal is to make learning not only effective but also enjoyable, by breaking down complex ideas, connecting them to real-world applications, and building each student’s confidence along the way.

I have several years of experience tutoring students from elementary through college levels, and I’m comfortable supporting a wide range of learning needs, including students with special accommodations. I’ve tutored subjects including algebra, biology, chemistry, and statistics, and I specialize in helping students understand difficult concepts step by step. Whether it's preparing for an exam, building foundational skills, or catching up in class, I tailor each session to the student’s pace and learning style. I also draw on my research and clinical experience to give students a broader understanding of how what they’re learning can apply beyond the classroom.
