I am passionate about the impact that nurses make everyday. The desire to empower the next generation of nurses has lead me to become a Nurse Educator. Students often burn out when they have barely begun the journey to becoming an experienced nurse. As a nurse educator I want to bridge the gap. Help them discover skills in nursing, test taking, study skills, life balance, and the joy of impacting their world. I am an experienced nurse educator, who has lead and excelled, in a variety of settings such as classrooms, clinical rotations, lab skills and simulation exercise sessions. I conduct one-on-one and group tutoring to reinforce student learning; with measurable success in adapted teaching methods for students with dyslexia, ADD, ADHD, and dysgraphia. In my diverse work experience, I coordinated pediatric and adult patient care while working in Med/Surg, PACU, Ambulatory care, Neurology, an Infant Special Care Unit, and more. My experience enhances my ability to provide knowledge and wisdom to future nurses.
