I have many years experience working as a teacher and university level instructor. I have supervised teachers and student teachers as well as teaching preschool to college students. I have worked in public school, alternative schools, preschool, and dual language school settings. I am bilingual and understand the process of second language acquisition. I also have a Master's degree in Special Education and have worked with students with various special needs.

I understand how the brain works and can identify how different students learn most effectively. I know how to plan according to students' levels, interests, and needs. I plan engaging and effective lessons and use students' interests to guide instruction. My vast experience has exposed me to all learning styles and preferences and my continuing interest in life long learning guides my ability to help students learn in fun and dynamic ways.

I have a Master's degree in Special Education and many years experience working with children and youth with various special needs. I have also guided teachers and student teachers for many years in meeting the needs of their students with special needs.

I can structure lessons around individual need and interests. I see myself as a facilitator who helps students unlock their potential by guiding them to take control over their own learning.
