Bio

I'm Deidre! I graduated summa cum laude from New Mexico Highlands University with a Bachelor's of Science degree. I have been a nurse for 14 years.  I started my nursing career in Med-surg and transitioned to pediatric nursing after a few years. 

I have been working with children for over 13 years. I have taught ESL online for 2 years and have also tutored math and Spanish. I have a TESOL certificate.

I love working with children and am patient teacher. I like to make learning fun! When I am not teaching, I like traveling and spending time with my husband and two children. I have been to 11 countries. I am so excited to work with you and enhance your learning!

I have always had an interest in math from childhood with an accountant and math teacher for parents. I have tutored elementary math to children ages 6 to 9 in an after school program as well as tutored algebra to high school students. I am a very patient teacher and enjoy seeing the student excel.
