Hello, I’m Joe Maraschiello, an experienced history and social studies teacher specializing in government courses as well as a range of history and AP history classes, including AP U.S. Government. I have several years of classroom experience helping students strengthen their skills in historical thinking, DBQs, research, writing, and test preparation.
I’m passionate about making complex historical concepts clear, engaging, and accessible. Whether you're struggling with content, writing assignments, or exam prep, I focus on breaking ideas down in ways that make sense and build confidence.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in History from Radford University and a Master’s degree in History from the University of Louisville, with a concentration in American History and a minor in European History.
I offer tutoring in history, government, civics, geography, and economics. My goal is to make learning both relatable and enjoyable while helping you succeed academically.
