Super helpful and positive experience
I was a new user of Wyzant and I had a great experience with Paula tutoring me for my college Portuguese linguistics class. I was getting behind in the class from not being able to grasp and comprehend the topics and what was being asked. I had numerous sessions with her and met one to two times a week with her for turning. My tutoring sessions with Paula were extremely helpful and vital to me gradually becoming more successful in my class. She was able to break down the concepts in a manner that I could understand and help with reviewing what was being asked. She was very patient in describing things and going over concepts until I was able to understand them. She has a very positive and understanding approach when teaching which is really helpful especially when teaching another language. Overall, I would 100% recommend her for your Portuguese needs!

Great Experience
We have had 3 lessons with Paula and so far a great experience. She teaches my two kids ages 8 and 11, and my husband. We are new to online lessons and were not sure how it would work, specially for the kids, but Paula has done a good job planning lessons that are fun and engaging as well as effective as far as the content. Paula is a native of Brazil and because I am too that was a big factor in choosing her as our teacher for our family. I am happy my kids and husband are learning authentic Brazilian Portuguese.
