Hello! My name is Sarah, and I am an M.Ed. educator with over 10 years of experience working with K-8 students in classroom and intervention settings. I earned my Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix and have experience as an elementary classroom teacher, reading interventionist, MTSS case manager, curriculum specialist, and mentor teacher.
I currently teach 3rd and 4th grade students and previously worked as a 6th-8th grade Reading Interventionist, helping students improve reading comprehension, fluency, vocabulary, and confidence. My experience includes one-on-one tutoring, small-group instruction, and full classroom teaching with students of varying academic levels and learning needs.
My tutoring style is patient, supportive, and personalized to each student. I use engaging, data-driven strategies and interactive lessons to help students build skills, confidence, and independence. I believe learning should feel encouraging and achievable, and I strive to create a positive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and growing academically.
I am passionate about helping students succeed in reading and elementary subjects while building the confidence they need to thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
