Hi! My name is Krishna and I am currently a graduate student at UNC Charlotte studying Biology and conducting research in a neuroscience lab. I have a B.S. in Biology and have enjoyed taking many Biology and Chemistry courses throughout my undergraduate journey.
I have previously served as a Teaching Assistant for introductory Biology and Chemistry courses at UNC Charlotte and assisted students with subject material by holding small group sessions with 5-10 students multiple times a week. In these sessions, we would review material from lectures using engaging activities and practice answering critical thinking questions that I developed. I have also served as a mentor for students in elementary school and taught various science subjects through engaging activities to help them connect more with science in the real world.
I have had amazing tutors and mentors who have guided me throughout my journey and contributed greatly to my academic and personal growth. They were patient, encouraging, and motivated me to continue working hard at challenging subjects. I am extremely passionate about helping students achieve their goals and hope to use these qualities to do so. Feel free to contact me with any additional questions or to schedule a session!
