Erin has been an ELA tutor for both of my sons, who are high school freshmen since the summer of 2019. She has helped them in several ways at honing their skills in reading and writing. They've covered summarizing text, analyzing the plot, thorough text comprehension, finding and describing the theme of the text as well as chunking text. Although they both have very different needs; they look forward to their sessions with her as they've both said she has creative way to help them get their ideas out of their heads, on paper, organized and into their writing assignments. They've also provided great feedback about the resources she provides in helping them construct a thesis to support their essay writing assignments. We are very thankful for Erin's support!
