As a current 6th grade ELA language teacher I have the honor of working with young minds on a daily basis. I have 7 years of private tutoring experience and have had the pleasure of seeing many students realize their potential through higher test scores and better grades.
Using personal experience and knowledge of standardized exams I specialize in tutoring elementary and middle school language arts. I am also highly proficient in high school and college level biology materials. With such varied experience I hope to keep all students engaged and striving for excellence. I provide customized lessons with interactive work and periodic assessments to measure growth.
In order to ensure quality results I hold myself and my students to high standards. For this reason, I will periodically request feedback from students as well as parents. For this same reason I have a maximum of 3 session cancellations policy. If within a 60 day period a student cancels 3 times or more I may discontinue services.
In attempts to be flexible I do try to offer make up sessions.
