My passion for teaching has taken me to Korea, Japan, Nicaragua and Turkey. I have taught all levels, skills and ages.
As an employee in the North Carolina Community College system, I have taught ESOL classes in Greensboro, Lexington, Salisbury and Siler City. Currently, I am an ESOL teacher at Central Piedmont Community College and South Piedmont Community College. I am also a teacher-trainer for Oxford Seminars. This is a certification program where I train individuals to travel overseas and teach English. In addition to my teaching and training experience, I am also available to conduct Professional Development Workshops. These are negotiable at an additional fee.
My specialities include creating hands-on lessons that are engaging, challenging and FUN!! I focus on the needs of each individual student to create the BEST learning experience for YOU! My unique approach is through the Communicative Method which is designed to balance your skills by incorporating reading, writing, listening and conversation skills.
