I graduated from Colegio Tecnológico de San Juan in Puerto Rico, earning Magna Cum Laude honors in Power Engineering and Summa Cum Laude honors in Instrumentation. I am currently continuing my education in Electrical Systems Technology at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College to further expand my knowledge and skills.
Throughout my education and professional experience, I have developed a strong understanding of electrical systems, instrumentation, troubleshooting, mathematics, and technical problem-solving. I enjoy breaking down complex topics into simple, easy-to-understand explanations and adapting my teaching style to each student's learning pace. My goal is to help students not only complete assignments but truly understand the material so they can apply it with confidence.

I have over 16 years of baseball experience, beginning at the age of 2½ and continuing through high school, college, and my hometown league in Puerto Rico. Throughout my playing career, I primarily played shortstop and second base, while also gaining experience at third base and all outfield positions. This background has given me a strong understanding of baseball fundamentals, game strategy, and player development. In addition to playing, I served as a youth baseball head coach for four years and an assistant coach for two years. I have worked with players of different skill levels, primarily children, while also helping adults improve their fundamentals and overall performance. My coaching philosophy focuses on building strong fundamentals, proper mechanics, confidence, discipline, and a love for the game. I tailor each lesson to the student's individual goals, whether they are just beginning, preparing for school or league competition, or looking to improve specific skills such as hitting, fielding, throwing, base running, or baseball IQ.
Elementary Math

I have a strong foundation in mathematics through my engineering education and technical training. I graduated with honors in Power Engineering and Instrumentation and continue my education in Electrical Systems Technology, where mathematics is used daily to solve real-world problems. As a father of four children, I have spent many years helping with elementary math homework, test preparation, and building strong math fundamentals. I enjoy helping students understand concepts instead of simply memorizing formulas. My teaching approach is patient, encouraging, and adapted to each student's learning style. I help students build confidence in addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, word problems, and other elementary math concepts so they can succeed both in and out of the classroom.
Softball

I have over 7 years of combined softball playing and coaching experience. I played collegiate softball for four years, where I developed a strong understanding of the game's rules, strategy, player positioning, and fundamentals. Today, I continue to stay actively involved in the sport as the father of a youth softball player. For the past two years, I have served as a Head Coach in the Harrisburg youth softball league after previously serving as an Assistant Coach for one year. I have experience teaching hitting, fielding, throwing, base running, defensive positioning, teamwork, and overall game awareness to young athletes. My coaching style is patient, encouraging, and focused on helping each player build confidence while mastering the fundamentals of the game. I customize each lesson to the player's age, skill level, and goals. While I do not specialize in pitching instruction, I can help players improve nearly every other aspect of softball, including offense, defense, and overall softball IQ.

Spanish

Spanish is my native language, and I have spoken, read, and written it fluently throughout my life. As a native speaker from Puerto Rico, I have a deep understanding of Spanish grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and everyday communication. I enjoy helping students build confidence while improving their speaking, reading, writing, and listening skills. My lessons are tailored to each student's goals, whether they are learning Spanish for school, work, travel, or personal enrichment. I believe learning should be interactive, engaging, and practical, using real-life conversations and clear explanations to help students progress at their own pace. I create a patient and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. My goal is to help every student become more confident and successful in using Spanish in everyday situations.
