Hello! My name is KeArin, and I am an experienced educator with over ten years of teaching 4th grade and currently serving as a Literacy Coach for grades K–5. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Tennessee State University and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Northeastern State University. Over the years, I’ve developed a deep passion for helping students become confident, capable readers and writers through engaging, research-based instruction.
I am certified in LETRS (Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling), UFLI (University of Florida Literacy Institute), and Arts and Letters. My expertise lies in the science of reading, phonics instruction, and literacy intervention. I take pride in making learning fun, interactive, and meaningful for every student I work with. My approach blends structure with creativity, ensuring that lessons are both rigorous and enjoyable.
What truly sets me apart is my proven track record of student success. My 4th-grade students consistently performed at the highest levels in their grade, and our class achieved the most overall growth in the entire school. I believe every child has the potential to thrive when given the right tools, encouragement, and support. I’d love to partner with you and your child to make learning a joyful and empowering experience.
