Professionally, I’ve worked as both a Data Scientist and Full-Stack Software Engineer, allowing me to bridge analytics and development in my teaching approach. At Pave Finance, a Series Seed FinTech startup, I optimized machine learning algorithms and data pipelines to enhance investment recommendations. At QuantumStreet AI, also a Series Seed FinTech company, I built large-scale NLP topic modeling systems using BERTopic, Elasticsearch, and web scraping to analyze S&P 500 company data.
I’m now beginning the next chapter of my career at Vanguard as a Data Scientist in the Data & Analytics Advanced Development Program within the Technology Leadership Program. My first rotation is on the Financial Crime team, where I apply AI and machine learning to detect and prevent complex financial risks.
