I graduated from Northern Illinois University with a BA in History, a minor in Political Science, and my secondary education licensure for Social Studies - meaning that I do have the education and licensure to teach History, Government, Econ, Geography, and more. During my time at NIU I also took 2 years of ASL and served as Secretary on the Executive Board of our ASL club.
I love pursing creative outlets like photography, graphic design, crafting, and DIY. I can go from teaching the branches of government, to making pet portraits, to refinishing furniture, to repairing the dryer
While I have a passion for teaching my content area, what I miss most about teaching full time is the relationships I built with my students. I look forward to working with new students as I help educate them on some of my favorite topics
