Hi I’m Tianyi, a recent college graduate from Princeton University majoring in the Woodrow Wilson School of International Relations and Public Health. As an undergrad, I tutored organic chemistry for 3 years. I absolutely love mentoring students and helping them not only achieve their goals but also realize their fullest potential. It is amazing seeing students grow and I have learned from experience how each student uniquely learns information. So as a tutor, I am committed to adapting my own teaching to fit your style of learning and needs. I am also passionate about maintaining energy and sanity amidst studying for “marathon” exams like the MCAT. So I am always happy to provide more insight into this If you are interested.
I scored in the 99th percentile on my MCAT through self-studying. I used a wide range of materials and employed a lot of mental strategies when tackling the studying and the test itself. A majority of my studying was spent as I took on a full time 9-5 summer internship in Vietnam. So I can speak a lot to time management as well.
Contact me if you are interested in a one-on-one lesson! I provide one free 15 minute introduction/consultation - so we can get to know each other. And before each lesson, I ask that you send me a sheet of topics you want to discuss and work on at least 2 days in advance of our lesson. Wishing you all the best in your studying!
