Hi! I’m a senior at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, double majoring in Religious Studies and Management & Society. I’m passionate about helping students build confidence and succeed academically, especially in math.
Math has always been my strongest subject, and I have a solid foundation in algebra, geometry, and precalculus. I’m comfortable helping students work through everything from foundational concepts to more advanced problem-solving, and I enjoy explaining material in a way that feels clear and manageable.
Beyond academics, I’ve had several experiences working closely with students. I’ve mentored middle schoolers through Wyldlife and also coached a middle school track team, where I learned how to motivate students, build their confidence, and meet them where they are. I’ve also spent multiple summers working at a school in Kenya, primarily in elementary and special education classrooms, which strengthened my ability to adapt to different learning styles.
Having gone through the public school system myself, I understand what students are expected to learn at each level and how to support them effectively. While I specialize in math, I’m happy to help with other subjects as well.
My goal is to make learning approachable, engaging, and confidence-building. I’d love to work with you!
