Hello! My name is Kevin, and I’m a tutor with a passion for helping students build confidence and mastery in statistics, math, and analytical writing. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Statistics and Analytics and a Master of Public Policy, both from UNC-Chapel Hill. I was a three time Dean's list member and had a 3.59 GPA! Over the past several years, I’ve worked with a range of students, from high schoolers tackling their first dataset to college and graduate students navigating regression, hypothesis testing, or research papers. I’ve also worked professionally in both government and academic settings, applying the same skills I teach to real-world projects in housing policy, public health, and environmental analysis.

My approach to tutoring is always personalized, patient, and rooted in building understanding, not just memorization. I believe students learn best when they feel supported and encouraged to ask questions, and I strive to create a welcoming, pressure-free environment where they can do just that.
