I am an MD/PhD student currently in my PhD years, with a strong foundation in both basic sciences and applied reasoning. I have completed extensive coursework in anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, neuroscience, and pathology, and have passed the USMLE Step 1. My research has deepened my understanding of physiology, molecular biology, and science in general.
I have over 2 years of experience tutoring students at various levels, including undergraduate, post-bacc students and med students. I’ve worked one-on-one and in group settings, both as a volunteer tutor and as a teaching assistant for college-level calculus course. Many of my students have been pre-med or in allied health tracks such as nursing, physical therapy, and exercise science.
My tutoring style is adaptive and student-centered: I believe in meeting learners where they are. I focus on breaking down complex topics into digestible frameworks, using active recall strategies, visual aids, and high-yield concept mapping to help students truly understand (and retain) the material. I tailor sessions to the student’s goals—whether it’s mastering foundational biology, preparing for finals, or scoring well on Step 1.
