I’ve always been passionate about writing, reading, science, math, and, of course, film. My goal is to help students develop a deeper understanding and appreciation for these subjects.
I hold a degree in Visual Arts and a Certificate in Finance from the University of Maryland - Baltimore County, where I earned a full-ride scholarship. In the two decades since then, my career has taken me around the world, creating films that break down complex ideas—like dark matter or the construction of 14th-century warships—into engaging, easy-to-follow narratives. This ability to distill complexity into clarity is the foundation of my teaching approach.
During the COVID lockdowns, I began tutoring my three children and their friends in English, Science, and Math. I discovered how much I enjoy helping students (elementary through high school) grasp challenging concepts, transforming frustration into excitement and confidence.
