I am a current Master's student in Statistics at UNC Chapel Hill. I am excited to tutor your student, of any age, in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Writing, including college admission essays or classwork.

While I was an undergrad, I was employed as a Writing Coach at UNC's Writing and Learning Centers for three years and at Prompt online, as well as a TA for an undergraduate math course. I met one-on-one with students, encouraging them to think through their own problems and be creative in pursuing their projects. Our coaching sessions were as much about understanding the student's desires and background as finishing a writing project, applying to college, or submitting math homework.

Working as a Writing Coach and TA showed me the importance of hard work in pursuit of academic goals. Any student can be empowered to be their best in the classroom with the right coaching and cheerleaders! My tutoring style reflects this mindset. Not only will I be your student's biggest cheerleader, but I will bring unique coaching techniques to our meetings, including brainstorming techniques or back and forth questioning.

It is most important for your student to feel like they own their own work, and I will be there to help them embrace that ownership. I look forward to meeting your student and helping them feel confidence!
