About Adam

Bio

I have both a Bachelor's in Chemistry and a PhD in Environmental Sciences from Rutgers University. I have been working full time since 2005 doing statistical programming to model and analyze air pollution data. I have also been tutoring mostly Chemistry since 2003, but also have experience with tutoring R Programming, Statistics and Envrionmental Science. I have both a Bachelor's in Chemistry and a PhD in Environmental Sciences from Rutgers University. I have been working full time since 2005 doing statistical programming to model and analyze air pollution data. I have also been tutoring mostly Chemistry since 2003, but also have experience with tutoring R Programming, Statistics and Envrionmental Science. I believe chemistry is extremely useful for understanding the everyday world, provides a basis for study in numerous scientific fields, and is great training for combining analytical thinking with common experience. Having gone through a number of confusing classes myself, I am passionate about breaking down complex problems into simple and easily understandable concepts, and passing the same ability to students to help them develop their analytical thinking as efficiently as possible.

I have been doing statistical programming for almost 20 years, specifically using R in my everyday profession for almost 15 years.

I have almost 20 years of experience tutoring chemistry, plus a strong academic record in high school and university studies in chemistry.

I am available most weekday afternoons and evenings, and am flexible on the weekends, so please let me know if I can help you!

Chemistry Tutoring

Maddie needed last minute help with tutoring. She was able to ask questions and go over the problem. She reports she understand the way he was teaching her and that helped her. Will definitely be using Adam for more Chemistry help.
