I have both a Bachelor's in Chemistry and a PhD in Environmental Sciences from Rutgers University. I have been working full time since 2005 doing statistical programming to model and analyze air pollution data. I have been working full time since 2005 doing statistical programming to model and analyze air pollution data. I have also been tutoring mostly Chemistry since 2003, but also have experience with tutoring R Programming, Statistics and Envrionmental Science. I believe chemistry is extremely useful for understanding the everyday world, provides a basis for study in numerous scientific fields, and is great training for combining analytical thinking with common experience. Having gone through a number of confusing classes myself, I am passionate about breaking down complex problems into simple and easily understandable concepts, and passing the same ability to students to help them develop their analytical thinking as efficiently as possible.

I have been doing statistical programming for almost 20 years, specifically using R in my everyday profession for almost 15 years.

I have almost 20 years of experience tutoring chemistry, plus a strong academic record in high school and university studies in chemistry.

I am available most weekday afternoons and evenings, and am flexible on the weekends, so please let me know if I can help you!

My own educational achievements in Chemistry include achieving a 5 on the AP Chemistry exam and receiving my Bachelors in Chemistry with Highest Honors. Additionally, my PhD work involved chemical analyses of air pollution samples, and I have been working as a full time research scientist since 2005.

This was my second computer programming (in my case R) session (and not my last) with Adam and let me just say how truly blessed I was when Adam answered my initial message to him. I am at the very bottom of basic level programming, but Adam has been so understanding and patient as he explains every step needed, which function is being used and why, and what it should/will produce.
