Hi! My name is Isha, and I am currently a student at Yale University studying Molecular Biophysics & Biochemistry and Statistics & Data Science. Through my coursework and research experience, I have developed a strong foundation in biology, chemistry, mathematics, statistics, and computer science, along with the analytical and problem-solving skills needed to succeed in challenging academic environments. I especially enjoy helping students break down difficult concepts into clear, manageable steps and building the confidence they need to succeed both inside and outside the classroom.
At Yale, I have worked as a Teaching Assistant for courses in both the sciences and quantitative fields, including statistics, coding, and data analysis. In these roles, I have led review sessions, answered student questions during office hours, and helped students understand material ranging from foundational concepts to more advanced applications.
Working closely with students with different learning styles has taught me how to adapt my teaching approach to each individual, whether that means walking through practice problems step-by-step, explaining concepts visually, or helping students develop better study and test-taking strategies. My experience has strengthened my ability to communicate complex material in a patient, approachable, and encouraging way.
Outside of school, I love to dance, play pickleball, bake, and read!
