I have been a social work educator for almost 14 years. I have tutored students as well as supervised them for internships. In addition to educating and supervising, I have spend some time in the field of direct practice working in the capacity as a child welfare social worker, mental health therapist and licensed school social worker.

I hold a bachelor's degree, master's degree and am currently pursing my Ph.D in social work. I truly enjoy working with and tutoring students in the field of social work. Please let me know if I can be helpful in your pursuit of your life goals pertaining to social work.

I love being able to support and assist students with their academic journey. Seeing the look on one's face when they 'light bulb' goes on is so rewarding, and I sincerely appreciate being a part of that.

I have gained clinical experience in the areas of individual, family, and group therapy at agencies that provide diverse counseling services within school, agency, and residential settings. I have worked with individuals who presented an array of behavioral and emotional disorders that proved to have adverse effects on their level of functioning. In addressing such problems, I have assessed, diagnosed and implemented treatment plan strategies that highlighted goals for which individuals aimed to achieve. Through these experiences I have grown professionally and gained relevant skills that will remain valuable and applicable when helping others to overcome stressful situations and detrimental life events.

I have experience playing as well as coaching Women's Basketball. I obtained a full-scholarship to Winston-Salem State University and played for four years. I have coached at Elon University, as well as Syracuse University and loved every minute of it.
