My name is John. I'm a recent college graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Science and a Masters in Healthcare Administration and Education. I'm new here to town, as I moved to Burlington, NC from Nashville, TN in June. In Nashville, I thought Advanced Exercise Physiology and Anatomy on the collegiate, post-undergraduate level. Through teaching college students, not only was I able to help students, but was also afforded the opportunity to gain perspective on the different struggles that the average student may face (whether it be student athletes, club members, extracurricular activities, working a job, etc).
Furthermore, throughout my undergraduate at Auburn University, I really got involved with tutoring and giving back to my peers; through working in adjunction with Student Affairs. Also, it was while pursuing my undergraduate degree that I developed my love for Science and Mathematics. Science and Math allowed me to think outside the box and really coincide practical knowledge with the things taught within the classroom. Often times, as a student, it is pretty easy to fall behind in class; commonly resorting in a lesser grade. That's where I come in! I offer a stress free environment that not only helps the students, but promotes functional cognitive thinking, deductive reasoning, and problem-solving skills that will follow them through life!
