I have studied my chosen subjects extensively, obtaining advanced degrees, and have also published two novels in the inspirational market. In my spare time, I enjoy singing, theater, learning foreign languages, reading, participating in church activities, and snuggling with my cat.
I currently hold a Master's in English with a concentration in Professional Writing, as well as a Master's in education with a concentration in secondary English. Beyond that though, I am passionate about helping students strengthen their English skills and gain new appreciation for the many facets of the subject.
Although I did well in most school subjects, I struggled in others because I have cerebral palsy with a visual-perceptual component. Thus, I believe I have a unique understanding of what it means to be gifted and perform well, but also what it means to struggle and need help. I hope to reach out to many students through experiences like these.
