My Level of Effectiveness Scores have mostly been 5s which is the highest score you can get. As a classroom teacher my focus was on small groups during math instruction. I like to make math both meaningful and fun for students. Differentiation is key and knowing how to address all levels of learners is what I do best. As a math instructional coach, I worked with both teachers and students. I used data to help teachers drive their instruction and modeled best practices for math in the classroom. I also had small groups for Response to Intervention. These groups targeted both deficits and enrichment. Because of this experience I have a lot of tools in my toolbox to help students succeed in math. I am only leaving my current job because we are moving to another state. I am excited about an opportunity to continue to work with elementary students and help them be successful with math.
