I enjoy working with students and is rewarding to both them and myself to see the lightbulb come on as they recognize that they can master skills in both reading and math that they previously struggled with.
In reading, I use word attack skills, phonics, timed reading and other tools to help build reading rate and accuracy as well as reading comprehension.
In math I use manipulatives, games and math websites to help target and provide assistance in mastering math skills.
My goal is to provide each student with the tools to be successful and reach their full potential in both math and reading.
