Hi! My name is Ben. I'm a current PhD student in Organizational Behavior passionate about helping students of all ages achieve their academic, personal, and professional goals. With a background in higher education career development and undergraduate and master's degrees in journalism and digital media, I offer personalized guidance on everything from college essays and applications, resumes, to writing support and creative endeavors.

Hi! My name is Ben. I'm a current PhD student in Organizational Behavior passionate about helping students of all ages achieve their academic, personal, and professional goals. With a background in higher education career development and undergraduate and master's degrees in journalism and digital media, I offer personalized guidance on everything from college essays and applications, resumes, to writing support and creative endeavors.

Before returning to school, I worked at the university level, assisting high school, college, and working professionals in their career journeys. Additionally, I've honed my skills as a freelance videographer, collaborating with businesses of all sizes. I enjoy helping students with their creative projects, including filming, editing, photography, and graphic design.

Through my experience as a tutor and mentor, I've discovered that a fulfilling life is a tapestry of diverse experiences. I am a former college baseball player who shares my experiences from the game with students, teachers, athletes, and professional organizations of all levels to help them eliminate burnout while remaining effective and efficient in their work. Beyond my speaking I work as an adjunct professor and author. My book is used to help the groups I work with develop a customized game plan so they can achieve their ultimate success. Speaking background: -Spoke at events hosted by colleges and university with over 375 K-12 students, 650 parents and families, and 1,100 currently enrolled students. Topics focused on personal and professional development. -Have been brought in by over 25 schools, athletic programs and business organizations, both nationally and internationally, to speak. -Teach public speaking classes and provides 1-on-1 lessons for students ranging from Kindergartners to business professionals.

My 14-year-old son has very discerning taste, and we’ve spent a lot of time searching for the right tutor. Ben has been the perfect match—he's always well-prepared, positive, and knows how to weave our son’s interests into the lessons, keeping them engaging. I worked with Ben on a video I wanted to produce to support an upcoming capstone presentation. Ben met with me after I had been working extremely long days at my job and then nights and weekends on my graduate coursework. Great & Proficient Tutor!

Ben assisted me in using an Envato template through Premiere Pro. Everything I needed to do make timeline adjustments, wording, pics etc... We were done before the hour because of his expertise and quick resolves. And I did all of the work. He just guided me through to ensure I was learning and not just watching. Patient, very kind and very knowledgable.

I would highly recommend Ben. He was very knowledgeable about Adobe Premier Pro. He was very patient and accommodating. He would be a great tutor for anyone. Although I was familiar with an alternative film editing software, he was able to show me some of its more advanced features.
