As a first grade teacher, I taught reading strategies that focused on comprehension, fluency, phonemic awareness, sight words, and deciding. In math, I taught basic skills focusing on number sense, addition, subtraction, word problems, money, time, basic geometry, and basic fractions.
As a reading and math tutor, I taught all elementary grades and focused on the students' individualized needs.
